Hi, I'm Linda!
I'm an expert in translating cancer research into plain language that is accessible to broad audiences. At the National Cancer Institute, I developed press releases and blog posts to highlight the latest advances in cancer research. I also developed patient education content. Prior to joining NIH, I was a writer and editor at Chemical & Engineering News, the weekly magazine of the American Chemical Society. There, I wrote and edited news and feature stories, managed freelance writers, and oversaw special projects. I also spent two years writing for the Journal of the National Cancer Institute.
My bachelor’s degree is in biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and I have a master’s degree in science and technology journalism from Texas A&M University.
